Online Islamised Curriculum

Wonderkids Primary School is fortunate to have piloted ‘The Guardian Institute Curriculum’, which provides a more holistic approach to learning for both teachers and students.

Through interactive resources, events/stories mentioned in the Quraan and Hadith, we learn about Our Creator and become closer to Him. This curriculum encourages us to be true believers by being aware of the importance of ones mind, body and soul in the purpose of life.

As a facilitator, I have developed a deeper understanding on how education needs to be governed primarily by the guidance of the Quraan and Sunnah.

 

This program also encouraged me to:
-Renew my intention
-Look deeper into the meaning and message of the Quraan and Sunnah.
-Promote self-reflection and personal growth.
-Fulfill my responsibilities towards my students, myself, my parents, those who are near and dear and the environment.
– And above all, fulfill my rights and obligations to Our Creator.

I’ve had a very good experience using the TGI curriculum in this short while. I find the content very informative for not only the learners but also teachers. Every lesson reminds learners of Islam and being a Muslim and very subtly inculcates Islamic values in our children. The stories are strategically place before an activity creating enthusiasm in the learner to complete the activity. The teachers guide is also very informative with detailed explanations of every activity as well as additional resources that can be used to reinforce.

Working with The Guardian Institute Curriculum has been absolutely fascinating, for both teachers and students as they have responded well and we have most definitely learned so much together.  

TGI curriculum developed a CAPS alligned syllabus whilst integrating Islamic learning into the curriculum. This curriculum makes learning interesting and fun for learners and educators. TGI Islamised CAPS curriculum is designed to develop a child holistically whilst keeping Islamic beliefs the focus for every Muslim child.

An Islamised CAPS curriculum developed to focus Islamic values and principles. Educators and Learners enjoyed engaging with the TGI curriculum. This is an integrated curriculum which allows learners to develop consciousness of Islam. A comprehensive Islamised CAPS Curriculum aimed at developing a learner to be mindful of Islamic values. Teaching the TGI Islamised CAPS Curriculum is a fun and interactive approach to developing a learner holistically.

I never thought I would see such enthusiasm and excitement in the eyes of little children when they receive books.. especially school books, but that’s exactly how every term this year has been. The kids look forward to starting the books and thoroughly enjoyed every activity.

Kids were engaged in the lesson, and progressed excellent through the year. Alhamdulillah we are so blessed to have been given the opportunity to pilot this series.

Mahdul ilm is pleased to have joined with TGI in an attempt to streamline and islamicise the curriculum so as to ensure that our girls are being educated in a wholesome, global environment with the correct Islamic foundations.

TGI has a high standard of education with excellent content geared towards fostering enhanced cognitive function. The content is presented in a colourful and interactive manner which learners enjoy.

The islamic content has proven to be beneficial for learners as well as the parents/guardians. I am impressed that the level of education has been maintained and incorporated so seamlessly with islamic values and ethos.

It is refreshing to note that we are able to deliver quality education without having to compromise on our deen. Alhamdulillah our learners need not feel out of place or embarrassed based on our ethos and beliefs.

Jazaakallaah hu khayr to all those involved. You have played a vital role in imparting Beneficial Knowledge. May Allaah Ta’aala accept from us and make it a means of goodness in this world and in the Hereafter.
